Слава Ісусу Христу! Glory be to Jesus Christ!

In my theological studies I had a New Testament biblical scholar who was an expert on the Latin Rite Lectionary and a contributer to the comments you see in the New Testament portion of the Bible. He challenged me to become familiar with our own Byzantine Lectionary. The result was a series of inserts for the Gospel of Mark which I will use later in the liturgical year. Now I have been working on inserts for the Gospel of Luke as this weekend we enter into the “Season of Luke.”
