Mykola Melnyk commanded a company in Ukraine’s 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade and was seriously wounded during the Zaporizhzhia counteroffensive. He received the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky and has spoken at Yale University, the National Defense University, and other leading institutions.

Denys Haida defended Donetsk Airport and fought across several major fronts, from Kyiv and Sumy to Avdiivka and Zaporizhzhia. A recipient of Ukraine’s highest military honors, he now supports fellow veterans and advocates for Ukraine’s security.

Oleh Bonchynskyi served in Ukraine’s Armed Forces from 2014 to 2025. He fought in some of the war’s most difficult battles and was seriously wounded in Avdiivka. He has represented Ukraine at American universities and Ukrainian-American communities across the country.
